KUALA LUMPUR (July 10): Herbs of Gold and CARiNG Pharmacy have launched the “She Deserves It” campaign, an initiative aimed at encouraging women to place greater focus on self care, preventive wellness and healthy lifestyle habits.
The launch was marked by “She Deserves It: Yoga in Nature” held July 5 at Kepong Botanic Gardens, a wellness event attended by more than 100 women, featuring yoga sessions, wellness sharing and discussions centred on women’s health and well being in a natural outdoor setting.
The campaign seeks to raise awareness of women’s health topics including hormonal health, emotional well being, stress management, healthy ageing and preventive care through wellness education and public engagement activities.
According to Herbs of Gold, the initiative was developed following insights gathered from conversations with women and healthcare professionals over the years, with the aim of providing access to health information and wellness education.
Vita Life Sciences Malaysia and Singapore Senior General Manager of Product, Regulatory and Operations Dr Koay Suat Ling said many women often place the needs of their families and careers ahead of their own health.
“Through ‘She Deserves It’, we hope to inspire women to make their health a priority and recognise that investing in their well being is one of the most meaningful forms of self care,” she said.
She added that the campaign aims to encourage women to make informed decisions about their health by improving awareness of preventive wellness and healthy living.
Herbs of Gold, an Australian health supplement brand established in 1989, said it offers a range of nutritional and herbal products formulated for different stages of women’s lives, including products containing ingredients such as inositol, Pueraria mirifica, magnesium, cranberry and NMN.
Meanwhile, BIG CARiNG Group Business Unit Director for Health and Rehab Tay Li Yen said the collaboration reflects CARiNG Pharmacy’s commitment to making wellness support and information more accessible to women.
“Through the ‘She Deserves It’ campaign, we aim to create greater awareness around women’s health and encourage women to take meaningful steps towards better well being, supported by professional pharmacy care and quality health products,” she said.
The “She Deserves It” campaign will continue through future initiatives focused on wellness education, public awareness and providing women with access to health information and support to help them make informed lifestyle and wellness choices.
