Jennifer Mann, president of Coca-Cola’s North American operating unit, is set to leave the post on Aug. 1.
ATLANTA — Longtime Coca-Cola Co. executive Jennifer Mann plans to step down as executive vice president and president of the North America operating unit – the beverage company’s largest – later this summer.
Atlanta-based Coca-Cola said Mann is slated to leave the post on Aug. 1, and the company plans to announce a new North America operating unit president at a later time.
Coca-Cola has named John Murphy, president and chief financial officer, to oversee the North America operating unit on an interim basis. Plans call for Mann to remain with the company through April 2027 as senior advisor to help with the leadership transition.
A 29-year Coca-Cola veteran, Mann has served as the North America president since the start of 2023. The company credited her with driving strong revenue and profit growth for the business under her leadership.
“I am grateful to Jennifer for her tremendous contributions to The Coca-Cola Co. as an operator and leader,” said Henrique Braun, chief executive officer. “Her people-first legacy remains in the many high-performing teams she’s led across the Coca‑Cola business.”
Before taking her current post, Mann spent more than four years as president of Coca-Cola’s Global Ventures – including Costa Coffee and the company’s investment in Monster Beverage – and over two years senior vice president and chief people officer. She served as chief of staff for James Quincey, then president and chief operating officer and later CEO, from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, Mann was vice president and general manager of Coca‑Cola Freestyle for nearly four years, during which time she spurred global expansion across the Coca‑Cola system, the company noted.
