DENVER — Several Colorado schools and businesses have announced closings and delayed starts on Wednesday after a potent spring storm dropped snow on Colorado’s Front Range from Colorado Springs to Wyoming.
Denver Public Schools is the latest district to announce that all schools and administrative offices will be closed tomorrow due to severe weather. Parents and students will receive the alert from the district or their schools about the closure. 
Aurora Public Schools, Poudre School District, Thompson School District and Estes Park School District are among the districts also closed Wednesday.
Limon Public Schools announced delays on Wednesday morning.

A potent spring storm has brought several inches of heavy, wet snow to Colorado, including the Denver metro area. The 9NEWS Weather Impact Team has issued a Weather Impact Alert for Tuesday, Wednesday and early Thursday.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for most of the Colorado Front Range including the Denver metro area and foothills from Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon.
Downed trees, damaged branches and destroyed gardens are likely outcomes of the heavy, wet snow.
