Creativity isn’t a tank you drain. It’s a muscle you grow.
Maya Angelou said it best:
“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”
Create freely. Use the ideas. Trust the refill. And most importantly, have a great day.
My friend Dan trained Navy SEALs for eight years. I asked him: “How do you get someone to keep going when their body’s screaming stop?”
He said: “We teach the 40% Rule. When your mind says quit, you’re only 40% done. Your brain quits way before your body does.”
Instructors know: the first “I can’t” isn’t real. It’s your brain being a drama queen. Your body has 60% left. Your brain already filed for retirement.
“The mind protects you by quitting early. Our job is teaching people to recognize that protection as a lie. You’re not done. You’re just uncomfortable.”
In other words: Quitting at the first signal means never reaching your real capacity.
So, if you ever want to stop before your limits, ask yourself: “Am I actually done? Or am I just uncomfortable?” Uncomfortable is 40%. Done is different. Your first “I can’t” is a suggestion. Not a verdict.
RIZZ [noun] | Origins: It was popularized by American YouTuber and Twitch streamer Kai Cenat in 2021. He frequently used the word on his streams, which eventually led to it blowing up on TikTok. By 2023, it was named the Oxford Word of the Year.
Definition: Natural charisma and charm. The ability to effortlessly attract people. Unspoken rizz is the highest form, you don’t even have to say anything. Just exist, and people are drawn to you. If the person walked in and the whole room shifted. No effort. That’s unspoken rizz. It’s a gift.
In the wild? Rizz is the modern word for what charismatic people have always had.
The magnetic quality that makes people lean in. Some people work at it. Some people are born with it. Either way, it’s more valuable than looks. It’s the thing money can’t buy and social media can’t fake. You feel it immediately. Or you don’t.

The Good Men Project is a mission-driven media platform founded in 2010 that explores modern masculinity, men’s mental health, relationships, fatherhood, identity, and social change through personal stories, expert insights, and cultural analysis.
Our mission is to expand the conversation about what it means to be a good man in the 21st century — in ways that are inclusive, emotionally honest, and grounded in real human experience.
Because masculinity shapes how men show up in relationships, families, workplaces, and communities. Examining it thoughtfully helps reduce harm, challenge stereotypes, and create healthier outcomes for everyone.
Yes. GMP is committed to inclusive, progressive perspectives that challenge sexism, racism, homophobia, and narrow gender roles. We believe expanding masculinity benefits people of all genders.
The Good Men Project was founded in 2010 and has published continuously for over 15 years, making it one of the longest-running platforms dedicated to modern masculinity and men’s issues.
