A Bury high school has been recognised for its dedication to financial education.
Tottington High School received the HSBC Smart Money Award for its personal development programme, which helps students build real-world financial skills.
The programme is part of an HSBC-led initiative that teaches pupils how to manage money, develop financial independence and understand finance in real-life terms.
The high school, on Laurel Street, achieved the award this year and said the recognition is a “testament to the broad and balanced personal development programme that the school provides for its students”.
Neil Wilson, personal development teacher and community engagement lead, said: “We are incredibly proud to receive this recognition from HSBC for our commitment to financial education.
“Developing financial literacy is an essential life skill for our students, helping them build confidence, independence and informed decision-making for the future.”
