EUGENE, Ore. – Three women, including a psychologist from the 4J School District, face serious charges related to an alleged online drug operation.
Federal prosecutors have indicted Jennifer Blake, Amandra Heffelfinger, and Jesse Wasson for reportedly running an internet-based business selling illegal drugs like methamphetamine, Molly, ketamine, and LSD in exchange for cryptocurrency.
According to Columbus, Ohio news station WSYX, a Columbus-based cyber narcotics task force discovered the women’s website, Rocky Mountain Connections, leading to the indictment. Wasson is accused of managing customer service, money laundering, and general oversight. Meanwhile, Blake and Heffelfinger are alleged to have handled drug order processing and shipped drugs from Oregon through the United States Postal Service. Blake, who has an online bio indicating past work at Chavez Elementary School, is not currently working in any schools, according to Eugene 4J School District spokesman Kelly McIver.
“Jennifer Blake is an employee of Eugene School District 4J but not currently working in any schools,” said McIver.
District staff became aware of the situation earlier this week through the Ohio news report, McIver said.
Blake and Heffelfinger are currently held in the Polk County Jail.
