There’s no doubt that the Woojer Mat was one of the most enjoyable products I’ve tested; it’s an incredible gadget to experience.
It’s officially described as a high-fidelity haptic wellness mat that turns sound into full-body sensations, delivering spa-level vibroacoustic therapy in a compact, portable size. It’s designed to connect to your nervous system using low-frequency audio to reduce stress, improve sleep quality, relieve pain and tension, and elevate emotional and sensory experiences, according to Woojer.
The 75 x 30 x 1.7-inch/14.8-pound mat is foldable, portable and features a premium breathable fabric for added comfort. It arrives vacuum-sealed for easy shipping. Simply remove it from the packaging, lay it on your mattress, sofa or anywhere you want to lie down, and connect it to the Woojer app to complete setup.
What makes the Woojer Mat stand out is the Bluetooth connection to your music. Once it’s paired, it syncs to vibrate to the beat of your music. The connection can be via earbuds, full headphones, a TV, etc. It also has a 3.5mm auxiliary port for a direct connection.
Once your music is paired, use the app as your control center. Simply lie on the mat and choose one of the built-in sound programs or play your own music. The mat’s haptic vibrations then sync with the audio, creating an immersive and relaxing experience. The Woojer app offers programs for sleep and relaxation, stress and mindfulness, back and muscle relief, and energy and vitality.
The “feel the music” programs are soothing, and when they sync vibrations to the music, you get the feel of sitting in a movie theater with surround sound, feeling the vibrations from the audio. This works with any music you are listening to as well.
There’s no limit to when or where you use the Woojer mat. Use it during an afternoon nap, while watching TV or while playing video games.
An AC adapter, audio cable, carrying bag and a sleep mask are included. Woojer does not recommend sleeping on the mat for an entire night, and it will power off after 1 hour of inactivity.

Recently, Cobra introduced the Cobra RAD 490i next-gen radar detector, noting its faster response times and ability to detect radar before you are detected.
Right or wrong, the products exist; that’s not my concern. Like many drivers, I’ve sometimes pressed the gas too hard, which hurt my wallet. As Cobra said in its press release: “As driving becomes more complex, radar detectors are not about driving fast. They are about staying prepared, aware, and safe—for confident drives, mile after mile.”
My testing proved inconclusive; I struck out. I drove at the speed limit with the RAD 490i working but encountered no active radar. That probably put a jinx on me, but so be it.
Cobra’s extensive testing of the RAD 490i addressed the three critical performance issues radar detector users prioritize: response time, range and false alert management, evaluated in controlled and real-world conditions.
The new Cobra RAD 490i is a long-range laser radar detector with an easy windshield adhesive mount to supply the driver with real-time alerts. The 360-degree detection sounds off audible alerts as they are detected.
It features next-generation filtering that identifies real threats while limiting false alarms. The RAD 490i has twice the range of the previous generation of detectors and alerts with front- and rear-laser threat detection. In addition to the audible and smartphone alerts, a front-facing OLED display will give you a visual alert.
Other key features of the new RAD 490i include faster responses in Extreme mode, designed to increase sensitivity and help identify radar signals more quickly in fast-moving traffic. The expanded K and Ka Band Coverage provides broader protection across commonly used enforcement frequencies in both highway and city driving.
