It’s another Smart Start Monday, and Ray Adam Basaldua joined us again to tell us more about the ERC Development Network.
The ERC Development Network has created what they call the education network of the future. Their mission is to fill the void left by traditional schooling systems and make these vital teachings accessible to anyone who wants them. So, what exactly is this void? According to ERC, it’s the noticeable lack of curriculum focused on sound reasoning, personal development, and the kind of cognitive skills that help people navigate real life—not just pass tests.
To bridge that gap, they’ve built what they call a free educational trifecta: the power of the internet, the efficiency of AI assistance, and a foundational curriculum centered on ethics, reasoning, and cognition. Together, these elements offer learners a structured path toward better decision making, clearer thinking, and stronger personal growth.
Ray says the goal isn’t to replace traditional education, but to enhance it—giving people the tools to better understand themselves, interpret the world around them, and become more effective contributors to their communities. It’s learning for life, not just for the classroom.
