Industry veteran Mary Lee Blaylock is now leading Coldwell Banker’s franchise business, after a little more than a year with Sotheby’s International Realty.
Sotheby’s International Realty President of Brokerage Mary Lee Blaylock has moved to Coldwell Banker, carrying her leadership skills to the brand’s franchise arm.

“Mary Lee is a proven, customer-first leader with deep credibility across brokerage, luxury and the dynamics of our evolving industry,” Compass International Holdings Brands President and CEO Liz Gehringer said in a prepared statement. “She understands what it takes to support our affiliates with a rare combination of operational rigor and authentic connection with the people at the center of our business.”

Blaylock’s resume spans more than three decades, with executive roles at Edina Realty, HomeServices of America, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties and Sotheby’s International Realty.
Blaylock launched HomeServices of America’s relocation business and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties’ National Luxury Division. At Sotheby’s International Realty, she led the firm’s company-owned brokerage operations across the U.S., which generated billions of dollars in annual sales volume.

Her work has earned her several industry honors, including a place in the RISMedia Hall of Fame and the Swanepoel Power 200.
Blaylock will work alongside Kamini Rangappan Lane, who leads Coldwell Banker’s company-owned arm as president and Chief Executive Officer.

Blaylock is replacing Coldwell Banker Affiliates President Jason Waugh, who now leads HomeServices of America’s insurance subsidiary.
