Kids signed up for a summer academy at Northeastern State University to learn more about drones and how they can be incorporated into careers in many fields.
At the Drone Discovery Academy June 22-26, students from grades 3-6 are getting the opportunity to learn the basics of drone flight. They are exploring how drones move and respond as they develop hands-on skills in control, coordination and problem-solving. The cost of the 3-1/2 hour classes over the five days is $70.
